The last weekend of May was the inauguration of First Film Music Festival in Krakow. Grzegorz Hajdarowicz is one of the people who launch the idea.

Festival took place during three evenings where on the first one there was an orchestra concert on the 100th anniversary of film music, than there was an open air concert on Blonie where Eric Serra with his band RXRA presented compositions from Luc Besson’s films like Big Blue, Leon, The fifth Element, Nikita and Joanna d’Arc. The last evening hosted a screening of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring with a live concert of the music composed by an Oscar winner Howard Shore. More than 300 artists gave the outstanding performance also on Krakow Blonie.
