Today is to finish the first week of shooting in New York, Bronx of a new film by Raymond the Felitta called City Island.

Andy Garcia who is a leading role in the movie plays the prison guard. The main co-producer of the movie is a Polish company from Cracow Gremi Film Production lead by Greg Hajdarowicz. It is the first example when a Polish film producer invests up to 32% of the budget in an American movie with Hollywood stars.Gremi Film Production which was established a couple years ago in Krakow, Poland, as so far has coproduced Nightwatching by Petera Geenaway, Hania by two Oskar winner Janusz Kaminski and this a utumn will be premiered shoot entirely in Brazil Carmo.

Shooting of City Island is scheduled till the end of August 2008.

When prison guard and New York family man, VINCE RIZZO played by Andy Garcia, sees a familiar name of TONY NARDELLA among the new convicts list, his life filled with secrets is going to change.
