Gremi has since then worked with Zebra Film Studio on the Christmas tale Hania, directed by Janusz Kaminski.  Later, Gremi produced Carmo, Hit the Road (Polish, Spanish, and Brazilian co-production, directed by Murilo Pasta), which had the international premiere at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.

In  2008, Gremi started producing their first U.S. project with a Hollywood cast. City Island, directed by Raymond De Felitta, is a comedy about a dysfunctional family.  It won The Heineken Audience Award at 2009 Tribeca Film Festival in New York.

Gremi’s major principle is to participate in prestigious and commercial international projects, which involve major players in the film industry, and can be sold worldwide.  Their objective is to make one movie per year.  The core of GREMI’s philosophy is to make films based on their own ideas and concepts.
